The sum of all our theological beliefs is Jesus Christ

Everything we believe - all the details of our doctrine - spring from knowing God through His Son Jesus Christ. He's the reason we exist, the goal we aim for, and the explanation of life!

THE GOSPEL

The "Gospel" literally means Good News. It is good news that God loves us and that He provided a means of reconciliation with Him through His Son Jesus Christ. At Crosspointe we celebrate the Gospel narrative as it bleeds through the pages of Scripture and encourages our hearts every day of our lives.

SALVATION

Salvation is a term that is used by several religious entities, and it means to save or to heal. We are saved by God's grace toward us through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus the Christ for our sins. The gift of salvation is accessed by faith alone in Christ alone without any efforts or works of human effort. Anyone who calls on the Lord for salvation will be saved.

SIN

Sin is an issue within the very DNA of who we really are. Everyone is born with a virus called sin living inside of them, which separates man from God. As a result, man cannot attain a right relationship with God through any effort of his own. The cure for sin is Jesus. Although sin is in every man, man is not his sin.

FORGIVENESS

Forgiveness of our sins is what sets Christianity apart from every faith-based system of righteousness. When Christ died at Calvary, He totally and fully paid for every sin we would ever commit. After salvation, God is no longer angry with us over our sin becuase every last one of them have been blotted out by the blood of Jesus. Forgiveness of sins will change your life and your mindset about yourself forever.

BAPTISM

Baptism by immersion is a command by Jesus given to those who have been saved. Baptism has no intrinsic saving value in and of itself. It does however symbolize the believers' identification with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ our Saviour.

SCRIPTURES

We believe that the Bible is God's Word in written form. It is the product of holy men who wrote and spoke as they were directed by the Holy Spirit. The Bible is accurate, authoritative and applicable to our everyday lives.

GRACE

Crosspointe is unapologetically and unequivocally a "Grace" church becuase that is the message of the New Covenant! We believe in a "Grace Space" where we are able to shine the hope of the gospel into the brokenness of our lives. Grace is the new operating system that God puts inside of His children so that they may know what to accept and what to reject.
